Raptor Mod - Complete
The first modular wheel made for sugar gliders! It's a very simple user friendly design. Fully replaceable dual bearing assembly that is universal with all of the raptor mod wheels. For example you can buy a regular raptor mod wheel and then for travel you can buy just the baby wheel head, take off bearing assembly & attach it to the baby wheel head and then to your mount and you now have a travel wheel and a full sized wheel for a fraction of the price for both!!! You can also buy different color combo wheel heads to match different cage sets, or just as an extra for cleaning day. The best part is, you can remove the bearing assembly and full submerge the wheel head in a bleach solution to sanitize it , no worries about damaging the bearings! If you pressure wash your cages, there is no longer a need to remove the wheel first... the bearings are shielded from the water! The size of these wheels are 12" in diameter... so just add 1 inch to the track size, and that is the width of your wheel. Velociraptor Type R Mod - Complete
Made for pet RATS ONLY the track is now made from pvc coated wire mesh. It is imported!! There is no guarantee that it is safe for sugar gliders. Not designed for mod compatibility - this wheel has a dual bearing system that is replaceable. It is not safe to submerge in water nor to leave in your cage while pressure washing because water is able to enter the bearing and cause it to rust. However, it can still be cleaned with caution. The size of these wheels are 12" diameter... so with the Classic Raptor with a stock 5" track, you would need an opening of 12" x 9" for the wheel to pass through into the cage. Track sizes will vary by + or - 1/4". |
